Child custody, placement, child support and visitation can become worse without the right legal counsel.  With an whole person approach I consider the personal, mental and emotional impact on you and your children to achieve better results.

Enforcing Your Rights

Enforcing a family court judgment, order or property settlement agreement can be tricky. A single word in the document can make all the difference. I deal in facts and a detail focused analysis to achieve the best position for you case.

When should I seek legal advice about divorce?

See a divorce lawyer as soon as you seriously consider getting a divorce or if when your spouse mentions divorce.  We can discuss your concerns, risks and how best to protect yourself prior to a filing. Delaying legal advice until the divorce is actually filed can be costly and lead to disastrous consequences.

When will the court modify child support?

The court will modify child support if there has been a substantial change in circumstances.  If a new support order would change the amount by at least ten percent (10%) then a substantial change has occurred.

How can I know which lawyer is right for me?

Only you can determine the best lawyer for you.  Consider the type of case you think you have and the type of lawyer that might work best for your case.  Consider how much money you may have for attorney's fees.  Meet with the attorneys and ask questions about your case to test the lawyer's knowledge. Also, keep in mind how comfortable you feel when meeting.
